The Role of the Gaiafield Project within the Global Subtle Activism Movement
The Gaiafield Project is part of an emerging, multi-hub global subtle activism movement. Although we offer regular public subtle activism events, our primary aim is not to create another new global meditation network, but to facilitate greater coherence and collaboration between the many existing and newly emerging global subtle activism initiatives. We are not “the” hub, but we are ‘a’ significant hub for leaders and organizations in this new field.
The Gaiafield Project consists of several overlapping rings of relationship. Let’s consider these relationship rings in 4 tiers: Gaiafield Council; Gaiafield Allies; Gaiafield Network, and Gaiafield Planet.
Gaiafield Council
The Gaiafield Council is the innermost ring of the Project, comprised of 10 leaders in the field who guide the development of the project. The Council meets weekly via teleconference to practice Gaiafield Attunement, our core subtle activism practice.
Gaiafield Allies
Gaiafield Allies are those subtle activism leaders and organizations with whom we are in active and close relationship. We invite our Allies to join us monthly via teleconference for an Attunement practice and we partner with them on collaborative public subtle activism events.
Gaiafield Network
The Gaiafield Network consists of all those individuals connected to the Gaiafield Project through:
- receiving our enewsletter,
- liking our Facebook page ,
- participating in our public events and programs, or
- donating to the Project
Gaiafield Planet
Gaiafield Planet is our term for the global subtle activism movement as a whole. The vision of uniting large numbers of people worldwide in spiritual practice to support a shift to a global culture of peace is an emergent vision shared by many. New initiatives are arising all the time in service to this common dream. We know a large number of groups in the field, but there are many we don’t know yet. We welcome the many creative ways this impulse is arising in people and groups around the world and aim to highlight these initiatives here. If you would like to be appreciated as part of Gaiafield Planet, please contact us.
