Please join us on Saturday June 20 for a special Seeds of Peace global meditation in service to a peaceful outcome to the US-Iran nuclear negotiations, due to complete by June 30. This free one hour call/webcast will start at 3pm US Pacific/10pm GMT.
We are honored to be joined by Dr. Mirabai Starr and Dr. Andrew Vidich, who will offer prayers for peace at the start of our call.
In our meditation we will create together a multidimensional group field that serves as a vehicle for the transmission of higher qualities into the collective consciousness of humanity. We will plant seeds of peace in key government buildings in the USA and Iran and harvest the collective wisdom of our group through the sharing of individual insights. The practice offers a poignant way for you to contribute on subtle planes to a high stakes political process playing out on a global scale.

Peak event: September 21, 2012
Celebrate the International Day of Peace by joining with thousands world-wide in a unique 90 minute Global Attunement for Peace. This event will link via tele-conference and audio webcast multiple hub-sites around the world at locations of spiritual and political significance in a profound expression of planetary spirituality and global subtle activism.
The Gaiafield Council, a group of leaders in the fields of spiritual peacebuilding and subtle activism, have met via teleconference every Friday morning for the past four years to practice together a process that has come to be called “Gaiafield Attunement.” For most of 2011, our calls focused on opening to guidance about what contribution we felt called to make in 2012. Repeatedly our guidance was simply to invite more people into the sacred field that had been developing through our weekly calls. We invite you to experience the simple, yet profound process of tuning into the Gaiafield, with friends around the world, as an act of personal and planetary healing.
We will convene two calls, so as to accommodate those in different timezones.

Activation event: June 22, 2012
We are delighted to have launched our summer program (in the northern hemisphere) to build a global field of peace with a highly successful Global Attunement for Peace on June 22 – thank you so much for those of you who participated! The event linked, via teleconference and audio webcast, 8 live hub-sites world-wide and hundreds of online participants in a beautiful collective meditation to support world peace.

The field of peace has been initiated! Help us grow the field by joining in our weekly Spirituality and Peace calls, in conjunction with the “Summer of Peace” program and/or by visiting our Global Care Room at any time from now through the end of September.
WiseClimate was a subtle activism program convened by the Gaiafield Project in 2009 to support the Climate Change negotiations in Copenhagen. We present the details here as an example of an extended subtle activism program focused on a real world issue. Recordings are available here
2 components of WiseClimate: a Public Program and a Learning Community
Public Program
Our Public Program involves a series of “deep listening” Talkcasts (via teleconference and audio webcast) that will coincide with critical climate change and healthcare reform events in the world, including:
- October 24 – Climate Action Day (organized by 350.org)
- Second week of November – WiseClimate Council of All Beings (potential live event in San Francisco)
- December 2 (Australia)/December 1 (USA and Europe) – WiseClimate peak event – Global meditation webcast live from the Parliament of World Religions in Melbourne, Australia
- December 12 – UN Climate Change Resolution voting day
Learning Community
Deepen your experience of subtle activism in a 10-week program involving:
- 6 teleconference classes involving small group support for personal goals and learning (see the box below for details)
- a personal commitment to a daily intention practice which YOUdesign and are supported by your small group to maintain. (E.g.,light a candle for climate change in our online sanctuary at www.gratefulness.org; reduce your carbon ecofootprint by your desired amount; add the WiseClimate core intention to your existing practice.)
- optional weekly community “deep listening” calls (every Friday, 8.30-9.30 AM PST, 3.30-4.30 PM GMT)
- participation in the Public Program (i.e., 4 Public Talkcasts).
Energy Exchange To participate in the Learning Community program, we suggest an energy exchange of time, money, or in-kind support. The deep listening calls are a free offering. We suggest that financial contributions for the classes and support groups be in the range of $50-$100 for the whole program. Scholarships and work/study arrangements are available.

- facilitated small groups for dialogue about personal practices and intentions (using the new Maestro teleconference service that allows for breakout groups)

WiseUSA ‘O8 begins with a series of “Talkcasts” (via teleconference and/or audio webcast) with some of America’s most renowned socially-engaged spiritual teachers, including Lynne Twist, Marianne Williamson, Alfredo Sfeir-Younis, David Spangler and Gabriel Cousens M.D. Each teacher will share what a wise USA means to him or her and will guide a subtle activism practice, such as a meditation or prayer for collective healing.
